blue/green tint vip fad?

  1. Llumar cut us off because air 80 was the only film that we were buying. Lol 3m crystalline 70 is better anyway. Better heat rejection. Less blue

    This. I hate the real stuff on My wifes benz.. I sure dont like the stick on stuff on other cars

    shines more mirror blue with the sunlight on it...i have it on all windows and love it. cant notice it from inside but can def see it from outside.

    My reaction to the first photo: "That's what I'm talkin' about, son!!"

    My reaction to the second photo: "Ehhhh.. A little too blue.."

    So where can we get this tint????

    So it is 99% UV protection but since it is clear'ish blue, its limited heat reduction? Sorry, I'm lost.

    Since it is clear'ish blue, does it do a good job with UV protection as well as a dark tint, say 35%?

    well it gets chromey blue when direct sunlight hits it....looks pretty dope IMO. lol

    Im a fan, Ive seen the blue on the silver Mercs and it looks sick.

    UV protection and heat reduction are 2 different things. Because the tint is not dark, it will not reduce heat as much.

    I did SunTek Light Blue back in... 2004? Rick @ SunDial did it for me.
    Can't tell you much about UV rejection, the car is never driven anymore. But I still have it.
    I don't even notice that it's blue.

    hmm okay. Take it out on a sunny day this summer and let us know how well it blocks out UV.

    I look retarded with a farmers tan that is darker on one arm than the other.
